"You've decided then, eh? Well, I wish you many happy days with them 'forest cats'. I hope they accept you." Finn said. "Thank you. Will you come and tell Sapphira with me?" Jemma asked. "What? you haven't told your sister yet?" "I came straight to you since you were so eager to hear my answer." "Alright, I'll come." "Thank you. I think it will be easier with two."
What? You're leaving? No! Please stay! You could live with me. My Tallwalker would probably take you in. I just can't bear the thought of maybe never seeing you again." Sapphira cried. "She's decided, and that's her final answer. Anyway, you'll have me. I can keep you company." Finn told her. "I will miss you a lot, Sapphira, but I've made up my mind. I feel like I would be better off in the forest than with Tallwalkers. I'm sorry." Jemma meowed to her heartbroken sister. "But why? What made you want to join them? I bet it was Finn!" Sapphira hissed as she looked at the old tom.
"You convinced her, didn't you?" she accused. "No! She decided on her own! I swear I didn't do it!" Finn meowed innocently. "He's right. I decided on my own. I want to go because I had a dream about Lightning, Water, Shade, and Grass. They were sitting on the Tallrocks, discussing the clans. There is Lightningclan, Waterclan, Shadeclan, and Grassclan. They are looking for kittypets and rouges to join them." Jemma explaned. "What's a kittypet?" her sister asked. "I know! It's a house cat, like one of us!" Finn meowed. "That means that I will be able to join." Jemma said happily.
"I'm going to miss you so much!" Sapphira meowed quietly. "I know. I'm going to miss her too." Finn said sympathetically. "I will leave tomorrow." Jemma declared. Then she padded up to her sister and rested her tail on her back. "I'll miss you very much, but this is for the best." she said. Jemma looked at Finn. "Good wishes, Jemma. We will both miss you very much." he said. " I'll miss you too Finn. I'll even miss your stories. Maybe I'll come and visit sometime." Jemma meowed quietly. "I'd like that. Please do." Finn said. "I'll try." Jemma said and looked back at her sister. She was staring off somewhere, her eyes clouded with sorrow.
"I love you Sapphira, and I would stay if I could." she said. "But you can! You could live with me!" Sapphira cried. But Jemma knew that she would not be able to. "I'm sorry. I will miss you very much. And something tells me that we will meet again one day. I just have to go. I have a feeling that I will be needed there. I feel like I will finally be accepted." she meowed to Sapphira "If you will be happy, then I am happy for you. Just know that I will always have a place in my heart for you." Sappira said.
I know. I love you both." And with that, Jemma jumped over the fence into her garden.
Good connection between Sapphira and Jemma.
